You may choose from a variety of woods, ropes and finishes. Both rod-tension and rope-tension styles are available.

Rope-Tension The rope-tension marching bass drums are especially prized by musicians who carry forward the grand traditions of the fife-and-drum corps. Concert rope-tension bass drums on the Abel stand provide a traditional look and tuning method that is a striking and elegant sight on the concert stage.
Rod-Tension The rod-tension bass drum has become the instrument of choice for symphony orchestras all around the world. Part of the great popularity of these instruments is the proprietary, height-adjustable, fully-suspended stand designed by PAS Hall-of-Famer Alan Abel.
